Challenges in 2050 & Solution using AI : Latest Research Topic

The choosing of the topic for the Ph.D. research is a very big problem. One should understand the need before going into it. I personally believe that working on a real-world problem will help you to complete your research well on time. For this one, you understand what we need in near future. This blog will help you to understand what will be the future need and how we can meet them using artificial intelligence or automation. This may also help you to decide on your future  Research Topic.

According to the latest report, the World population is projected to reach 9.8 billion in 2050, and 11.2 billion in 2100. The current world population of 7.6 billion is expected to reach 8.6 billion in 2030, 9.8 billion in 2050, and 11.2 billion in 2100, as revealed by a United Nations report launched today. This is a big concern.

Anyhow we can only control the population but still no one  stop  us to achieving this number. In near future, we  have a scarcity of Food , Water, Fresh air, Fuel Consumption etc. Many areas where we have to work.

The first decade of the twenty-first century has heralded a bleak future for global food security. Food riots and political upheaval erupted in numerous countries when food prices skyrocketed in 2008. Excessive heat and dryness in Russia, which resulted in wildfires and a grain embargo, as well as record floods in Pakistan, indicate that more disaster is on the way. A world population nearing 9 billion by 2050, along with greater earnings in formerly impoverished nations, would result in increased food consumption, posing considerable difficulties to sustainable agricultural output. Climate change adds to these already severe issues. Because food production is so heavily reliant on local temperatures and precipitation, any deviation from existing conditions necessitates farmers adapting their operations.

The global demand for food is expected to increase by 70% by 2050 . Over the past half century, the area equipped for irrigation has more than doubled, total livestock production has more than tripled and inland aquaculture has grown more than 20-fold.

Researchers working in this area must have to look forward to alternative foods to meet future requirements. They have to think about alternative food rather to increase the quantity of the food because with production only we cant meet our future goals.

By 2050, India’s total water demand will increase 32 per cent from now. Industrial and domestic sectors will account for 85 per cent of the additional demand.

For Water, I Must Say we should adopt the ways to get fresh water means to reduce pollution. Water sources are very limited and we don’t have alternative sources. So in order to get  fresh water supply  in the future, we should  have to think about the ways to reduce the pollution in the wastewater i.e  prevention before pollution occurs.

Liquid fuel will make up 28% of global energy demand by 2050, compared with renewables at 27%. This assumes a 36% increase in liquid fuel demand and a 165% increase by renewables from 2020 levels.

In the future post, I will Address how we can overcome these problems using the latest technology  and you can also    give some ideas related to it  through comments
