Games aren’t just for fun—they can educate, inspire, and solve real-world problems. GAMETECHHACK 2020 invites developers, designers, storytellers, and innovators to create serious games, AR/VR experiences, and gamified platforms that drive learning, productivity, and social impact.

Over 24 hours, participants will build engaging interactive solutions that leverage game mechanics to tackle challenges—from health and education to sustainability and mental well-being. Whether you’re coding immersive VR worlds or designing motivating learning apps, GAMETECHHACK is your playground for innovation.

Create games that raise awareness or provide solutions for social issues like health, environment, or education.

Develop augmented or virtual reality projects for training, therapy, or interactive storytelling.

Build platforms that use game mechanics to motivate skill development, mental wellness, or workplace engagement.

🧠 AI & Procedural Content in Games
Innovate with AI-driven NPCs, procedural levels, or personalized gaming experiences.

🎨 Game Design & Narrative

🛠️ What Participants Will Do

  • Pick a track and identify a real-world challenge or user need.

  • Develop a playable prototype or MVP using game engines (Unity, Unreal, Godot) or AR/VR toolkits.

  • Ensure the game or experience is engaging, accessible, and impactful.

  • Present a live demo with gameplay walkthrough and impact explanation.
